Gage Anderson
Provisionally Licensed Therapist, MA, PLMHP
Gage graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology in 2017 and with his Master’s degree in Educational Psychology, Community Counseling in 2021. Gage has experience working with several populations, including both adolescents and adults. He has gained experience working with multiple concerns. Gage utilizes several therapeutic approaches with clients including but not limited to cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, positive psychology, and interpersonal therapy. Gage approaches therapy with cultural humility, open to supporting and learning from clients with varying cultural identities.
Gage promotes a non-judgmental, supportive, and genuine therapeutic alliance with his clients, seeking to provide an environment where they may feel safe and secure. He approaches new clients with an appreciation for individual perspective and a willingness to work in collaboration for the benefit of each client. Through a strong therapeutic relationship, he hopes to help clients identify and reach goals that are significant to the client and their unique circumstances.
In his spare time, Gage coaches youth wrestling at Competitive Edge Sports in Lincoln, teaching and mentoring children ranging from early childhood into late adolescents. Gage likes to spend time with his friends, family, and his dog Maui.
