Roni Hyde

Roni Jo is a licensed independent mental health practitioner. Roni Jo graduated from Creighton University with a bachelor’s degree in Sociology in 1992. Since 1992, Roni Jo has explored human nature and the human condition in various settings with varies mental health issues with individuals of all ages. Roni Jo earned a master’s degree from Bellevue University in 2012. Roni Jo has 8 years’ experience with substance use disorders and 4 years working with domestic violence victims and other traumas.

Roni Jo specializes in working with clients experiencing co-occurring diagnosis, substance use disorders, depression, anxiety, trauma, behavioral concerns, and PTSD. Roni Jo utilizes motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, solution focused therapy, and other therapeutic techniques from a trauma informed perspective. Roni Jo uses a Mind, Body, Spirit approach and mindfulness to aiding client’s reach their goals.

Outside the office, Roni Jo enjoys spending time with family, engaging in “movement” such as biking and hiking. She engages being creative, puzzles and playing Candy Crush.
