In 2018, Rachel earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, with a minor in Sociology, from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and later earned her Master of Arts in Counseling degree from Doane University in 2021.

Rachel has experience as a school-based therapist, working with high school and elementary age students. She also has experience working in a short-term residential treatment center, with individuals with co-occurring disorders. Rachel utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and, often, incorporates Dialectical Behavioral Therapy into her practice. Rachel is passionate about serving the mental health needs of children and adolescents, but is also excited to expand her experience in working with young adults and other populations.

Rachel works from a person-centered approach and encourages clients to have a hands-on experience with their therapeutic journey. Rachel prides herself on creating a warm, non-judgmental environment for clients to feel safe, heard, and empowered. Rachel believes that strong, genuine rapport is the most important part of a therapeutic relationship and is an essential part of reaching positive outcomes in therapy.

In her free time, Rachel enjoys CrossFit, spending time with her cats, crafting, being outside, traveling, and watching Netflix.
