Kristlin graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with a Bachelor's in Psychology in 2019 and with her Master's degree in Educational Psychology, Community Counseling in 2022. Kristlin has experience working with anxiety, depression, PTSD, sexual assault, sexual health, trauma, cultural identity concerns, relationship concerns, life transitions, LGBTQIA+ concerns, and more. Having traveled to various countries and as a daughter of an immigrant, Kristlin has an appreciation for different cultures and ways of life, therefore, she has a specialized interest in working with multicultural and BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and people of color) individuals.

Kristlin believes that clients are the experts of their life, meaning they take her on their journey, and she is simply there as a guide to help navigate what can be a windy path. She aims to help clients empower themselves and approaches therapy with humility, meaning she seeks to learn from her clients, while also being dedicated to continually expanding her own knowledge. Kristlin knows that therapy is vulnerable, thus she strives to create a safe and non-judgmental environment by being her authentic self, meeting clients with kindness and grace and bringing in light humor. She hopes that you will get a good laugh and feel comfortable to authentically be yourself, too.

Outside of the office, Kristlin enjoys watching Husker games and hanging out with her husband and their dog and cat. She and her husband love to spend time traveling to experience and appreciate other cultures, food, and ways of life. Most likely she can be found singing way too loudly in her car or improvising a new recipe because she definitely doesn't have all the ingredients.
