Eric is a licensed independent mental health practitioner as well as a licensed alcohol and drug counselor. Eric graduated from the University of Nebraska with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology. He earned his Master's degree from Doane University in 2015. Eric has been in private practice since 2016, working with both adults and youth with mental health and substance abuse concerns. Eric specializes in working with clients experiencing co-occurring diagnosis, depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, behavioral concerns, developmental disabilities, and clients with legal concerns. Eric utilizes motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, solution focused therapy, and EMDR among other therapeutic techniques. Eric aims to provide services from a trauma informed approach in a calming and relaxed environment.

Eric is a registered service provider for the state of Nebraska and works closely with the office of probation to provide services to those on probation with legal concerns. Additionally, Eric is an independent provider for the Department of Health and Human Services. Eric works closely with Service Coordinators to address concerns for individuals with developmental disabilities on their case load.

Outside the office, Eric enjoys watching and attending sporting events, camping, cooking, and spending time with his family!
